Coming up on 26 January! I’m very excited to be taking part in the forthcoming webinar with Les Dames D’Escoffier, “Kitchen Confidence: reinvention through cooking”.
I’ll be joining host Sheila Dillon, head of BBC Radio 4’s The Food Programme and a fellow member of LDE, Lucy Vincent – founder of Food Behind Bars, and Rachel Stonehouse – lead trainer for Luminary Bakery.
We’ll be talking about how learning a new skill, in this case cooking, can benefit the pupil with physical and mental confidence and self assurance.
The Virtual Kitchen is a monthly online food and networking gathering, where I co-host with coach Cindy Etsell of Cooking Up Success, to teach you to cook a dish or two, in the company of other food lovers, and network with like-minded people – from the comfort of your own kitchen.
It’s all about making great connections and building up your confidence, in and out of the kitchen. Look out for information about February – all about comfort food.
Be the first to know about Kitchen Confidence updates, events, recipes and more!

Welcome to Kitchen Confidence – a cookery school for anyone who wants to learn to love being in the kitchen or at the very least not to fear it. I am passionate about food and teaching others to be more confident in the kitchen – whether you’re a beginner, a bit rusty or looking for inspiration to get to the next level.
I give cookery classes in my north London kitchen or I can come to you if you’re in the vicinity. All my classes are currently available online. It’s all about building your confidence in the kitchen. I teach in small groups and also offer one-to-one sessions, tailored to your needs.
And there are recipes and tips here at the Kitchen Confidence website. I teach bakery at the excellent Bread Ahead Bakery School in London’s Borough Market.
As well as my cookery classes, I offer catering, from delivering baked goods locally, such as bread, biscuits or cakes, to cooking for dinner parties and other events.
If you’re not local to Kitchen Confidence HQ in north London, I can offer you an online class to get you ready to make that perfect meal or special dish.
I run a pop-up supper club, sometimes just for fun, sometimes to raise money for charity, including Missing People, the Alzheimer’s Society and the Royal National Life Boat Institution. Can’t wait till we are able to meet up and eat together again.
